The drawing shows the Tempio di Ercole Vincitore in the Forum Boarium (Temple of Hercules Victor, “Victorious Hercules”). It is located in the oldest part of Rome close to the former port near the Tiber Island and was dedicated to the victorious Hercules. Built towards the end of the 2nd century BC, it is the oldest marble temple in Rome.
