Founded by Dr. Alexander Kunkel in Munich in 2012, KUNKEL FINE ART focuses on the acquisition, sale and placing of nineteenth and twentieth century paintings, drawings and sculptures. The firm’s primary interest is in work by Realist, Impressionist, Symbolist, Expressionist and Neue Sachlichkeit artists. This is complemented by a select choice of contemporary artworks.

KUNKEL FINE ART offers solid art-historical expertise coupled with a passion for art and instinct for discovery. Although we represent many of the leading names in classic modern art we also showcase lesser-known figures where their works satisfy the rigorous quality standards we set ourselves. This enables experienced connoisseurs as well as emerging collectors to select from a uniquely broad range of artworks and to make attractive and exciting acquisitions even with a limited budget.
